ILLUSTRATIVE SAMPLE — NOT A REAL STUDENT RECORD
Illustrative intensive preparation schedule—not a real student record. Hours do not establish mastery or guarantee a 90% score or USCG exam success.
Two months of intensive preparation
Daily active study time: 55 study days plus one rest day with varied hours and minutes, usually 8–10 hours daily with occasional shorter days and an overall increase toward the end; 489h 50m total. Day 57 is the USCG Exam Day goal milestone, not a recorded study session or an achieved score. Two illustrative blocks, not actual dates.

Color legend in both calendars: over 8h is excellent effort in a distinct teal shade; exactly 8h is target met; below 8h is coral with exact duration; no time recorded is white. The sample includes shorter study days and a rest day; final Day 57 uses the coral exam-goal accent and has no invented study duration. The eight-hour threshold is an intensive preparation target, not a USCG-mandated minimum.
What serious license-exam preparation takes
Preparing for a USCG license examination is a serious commitment. An intensive preparation schedule may involve 8–10 hours of study a day over several months, including practice questions, understanding explanations, calculations and repeated review of weak subjects. Your actual workload depends on the license, relevant subjects, prior knowledge and preparation needs.
For perspective, working through 12,000 questions at an average of three minutes each takes 600 hours—60 study days at 10 hours daily—before additional repetition. This is a workload illustration, not a verified count of questions required for your license. This example is a preparation schedule, not evidence that every question has been covered or a particular score achieved.
Prepare for your selected license and relevant subjects—not necessarily every question in every bank. Passing the examination is only part of obtaining a credential; applicable sea service, training, medical and other requirements are separate. Study hours alone do not establish readiness: use scored practice and understanding of difficult subjects to assess progress.
Understand what your report measures
Your Wrong Answer Bank keeps missed questions for targeted practice. Repeated correct answers and first-attempt accuracy are tracked separately. Active visible study time is recorded when a scored session is completed. More hours alone do not establish exam readiness.
